Guidelines for Small Sticker Design

When designing your own small stickers, there are a few simple rules you should follow. The guidelines below will help you get a killer design first time without us having to suggest amendments and slow down your process.

  • Sticker Text

    • Use a bold, simple, sans serif font.
    • Uppercase lettering is recommended.
    • Keep text above 6pt size - below that it may become illegible.

  • Colors

    • Again, keep them simple. Solid, contrasting colors are ideal.

  • Images

    • Keep them simple! Only use images with 2D designs and solid, contrasting colors. Intricate colors and textures will not reproduce well on the tiniest stickers.

  • Shapes

    • We can print stickers in any shape you would like, but more intricate shapes may reproduce poorly or be difficult to apply. The simplest shapes - circles, squares, ovals or even stars - are perfect.

Can you color match

If you have something you would like us to color match, please send a physical example of the color. It will allow us to get as close as possible.

What are the resolution requirements

We print using 300 DPI images. Most web images are 72 DPI and look clean, but it does not translate well for our printers.
