Taking it to the Streets: Chalk it Up! Prescott 2014
Remember your own box of chalk and drawing hopscotch on the sidewalk along with fun and silly doodles? Street Art, in and of itself, is nothing new, dating back 1000s of years. Here in beautiful Prescott, AZ, we're celebrating our own unique art celebration this weekend with the 6th Annual Chalk it Up! Street Art Festival; a family friendly event intended to foster and support the creativity in people of all ages and abilities. What's more, we're super excited that Custom Sticker Makers owner, Jeff Daverman, was chosen this year as one of their four featured artists. Jeff knows firsthand the passion that drives artful expression and is super stoked to share his unique expression with the community. "I really am honored and excited to be a featured artist at Chalk it Up! this year. For the last 4 years, I've had the opportunity to create side by side with my daughter, chalk art runs in the family. Chalk It Up! is such an important, family friendly event that fosters connection to community through art. Here at Custom Sticker Makers, we're really proud to sponsor such a fun and worthy cause."

Chalk it Up! is a FREE event this Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd and 4th, 2014 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the parking lot of National Bank of Arizona. 201 Montezuma st. Prescott, AZ. Each participant is given a box of chalk and an area of pavement to create a family friendly chalk art drawing. Sponsor opportunities available.
